Expert Lookup Michelson Release Notes

Developed to offer time-savings and efficiencies in the otherwise complex search for proposal reviewers possessing the right expertise, Expert Lookup is continually developed with ongoing improvements to usability and security. In the Michelson release, scheduled for December 12, Expert Lookup users will see several enhancements designed to help with the workspace and clustering workflows, an increased archive of matching documents, and Fingerprint index enhancements.

  1. An improvement to the workflow, users can now move single or multiple proposals from one workspace into another:

  2. A new efficiency when working with clustered proposals, users can now move single or multiple proposals from one cluster into another:

  3. To better determine a researcher’s expertise, users can now view the count of matching documents going back to 2000

  4. To improve on the pinpoint-identification of matching documents, the default Fingerprint index is enhanced with expanded vocabularies, and a revision to the algorithm now shows a default of up to 30 Fingerprint indexes versus the previous default of 20.
