Principal Data Scientist Dr Katie Scranton and Program Manager Beth Finn will be among the Elsevier tech colleagues and HR reps attending the Grace Hopper Celebration September 20-22nd. Come talk with them about their work and tech opportunities at Elsevier.

At Elsevier, we  find new and inventive ways to use technology to help researchers make breakthroughs and clinicians save lives. And a key driver of our creativity is diversity — of people, ideas, thought, culture and perspective.

In science and health — where knowledge can change a life or the destiny of our planet — diversity is essential. Innovation, productivity and decision-making are enhanced when we embrace differences — from gender identity and sexual orientation to race and ethnicity, age, physical ability and neurodiversity.

That's why in technology, which is traditionally dominated by men, we champion gender equity.

In fact, Elsevier has been named among the Best Companies for Women, Diversity and Career Growth by Comparably — the global workplace culture and compensation monitoring site — based on employee surveys. And our CEO, Kumsal Bayazit, was named among the Best CEOs for Women and Diversity.

At Elsevier, we're excited to be joining colleagues from our sister companies at the Grace Hopper Celebration — the world’s largest gathering of women technologists. There, you can meet two of our women technology leaders. Dr Katie Scranton is a Principal Data Scientist. Beth Finn is a Program Manager. Both work on creating innovative technology for Elsevier's Health division, and you can read their stories below.

We invite you to join us at Booth #849. There, you can talk with all of us about the work we do — and interview for open positions.
