Elsevier supports a constructive and user-friendly solution the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM) has suggested to ResearchGate, enabling the scholarly collaboration network to operate its service consistent with the access and usage rights agreed between authors and the scientific journals in which they publish. At the same time, this solution continues to allow users to showcase their work in a seamless way. Here is STM’s letter to ResearchGate.

STM is the leading global trade association for academic and professional publishers, with over 120 members in 21 countries. Elsevier is a member.
