Series: Current Topics in Developmental Biology
Current Topics in Developmental Biology (CTDB) is a long-standing series that provides comprehensive surveys of major topics in the field of developmental biology. The series celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016, making it the longest running forum for contemporary issues in developmental biology. Each volume of CTDB has a central theme (e.g., hox genes, notch signaling, myogenesis, microRNAs, gametogenesis, epigenetics, stem cells, etc.) and includes articles written by outstanding research scientists who themselves investigate various aspects of the volume’s central theme. CTDB should be particularly appealing to principal investigators, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students who are looking for up-to-date, in-depth reviews of cellular and molecular mechanisms in animal and plant development.
