Advances in Biomembranes and Lipid Self-Assembly
Aim & scope
Advances in Biomembranes and Lipid Self-Assembly (ABiLSA) provides an excellent platform for renowned as well as early-career biomembrane researchers around the world. ABiLSA’s vision is to embrace lipid-based hot topics ranging from fundamental questions on the role biomembranes for life, all the way to designing novel lipid-self assemblies delivering solutions for consumer products, bioenergy and health. ABiLSA covers a wide range of non-planar, curved 3D-structures, including micelles of every shape, liquid crystalline mesophases and reports on fascinating hierarchical architectures found in life and applied sciences.
Advances in Biomembranes and Lipid Self-Assembly is focussing on publishing (i) themed volumes as well as (ii) institutional volumes (see for instance the volume that was guest-edited by Reinhard Lipowsky:
Upcoming volumes include the following:
Asymmetric Artificial Lipid Membranes & other Biomembrane Models
Artificial and Minimal Cells
Membrane Simulations
Dynamics of Vesicles and Cell Membranes
