Articles In Press Alerts: readers find out about your article as soon as it is online! A new service from ScienceDirect
By Elsevier Posted on 1 March 2013
A new Articles-in-Press (AiP) section has been added to the existing Journal Alerts in ScienceDirect. The new section provides readers with the earliest possible notification of new research, combining all of a title's new publication landmarks in a single convenient format.
AiPs are articles which have been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication, but not yet officially published as part of a formal journal issue. AiPs can be cited using the year of online publication and the appropriate DOI number, a fact that has contributed to the increasing popularity of the format.
This means that your new articles will be disseminated much sooner than previously possible.www.sciencedirect.com
