Quick Facts
The prefrontal artery arises from the superior terminal branch of the middle cerebral artery. It travels anterosuperiorly, along the lateral surface of the cerebral hemisphere, towards its frontal pole.
It provides an arterial supply to the prefrontal cortex and Broca’s area.
