Origin

The inferior marginal arterial arcade is formed by the converging inferior branches of the medial (from lacrimal artery) and lateral (from ophthalmic artery) palpebral arteries.

Course

The medial and lateral palpebral arteries arch across the lower eyelid just superior to the inferior tarsal plate. They anastomose forming the inferior marginal arterial arcade that extends the length of the lower eyelid.

Branches

There are no named branches.

Supplied Structures

The inferior marginal arterial arcade supplies the inferior eyelid.
