The meningeal branch of the cavernous part of the internal carotid artery is a small branch arising from the cavernous part of the internal carotid artery.

Course

The meningeal branch of the cavernous part of the internal carotid artery traverses over the lesser wing of the sphenoid bone of the anterior cranial fossa.

Branches

There are no named branches, however, the meningeal branch of the cavernous part of the internal carotid artery may anastomose with rami of the posterior ethmoidal artery.

Supplied Structures

The meningeal branch of the cavernous part of the internal carotid artery supplies the meninges and bone of the anterior cranial fossa.
