Please submit abstracts for poster presentations using the online submission form.  Your submission should be in the form of text, no more than 300 words long.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the organizers to ensure that the topic of the submission is consistent with the scope of the topics covered at the symposium.  

A condition of submission is that, if accepted, the poster and/or talk will be presented at the conference by one of the authors.

Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt including an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence.

Low-income Country Delegates – Reduced Fees Award

Elsevier is committed to making this conference accessible to the widest possible range of delegates from around the world and has made available 10 places at a specially reduced registration fee of just €295 plus tax. Applications should be made using the Application Form. These places are limited in number and will be awarded at the discretion of the Conference Chairman.  Applicants will be notified of the Chairman’s decision by 13 August 2018.

Special Issue

Selected papers communicated in the framework of MEEGID XIV will be published after peer-review in a special issue of Infection, Genetics and Evolution.

If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please do not resubmit your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email the Publishing Content Coordinator with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.
