Oral and paper abstracts are now invited on the following topics. They should be submitted using the online abstract submission system. Abstract Submission Deadline: 4 June 2021
Studies dealing with viruses, bacteria, parasitic protozoa, fungi and helminths of medical, veterinary or agronomical relevance, related to the following general themes:
- Micro-and macro-evolution
- Experimental evolution
- Co-evolution between hosts, pathogens and vectors
- Genetics and Genomics
- Host genetic susceptibility to transmissible diseases (humans and animals), pathogenesis
- In-silico evolution
- Mathematical modelling
- Molecular diagnosis, epidemiology and taxonomy
- Population genetics, population genomics, phylogenetics, phylogenomics, phylogeography
In the framework of these general themes, specialized topics will concern COVID-19, HIV, ZIKA, Ebola, tuberculosis and other bacterial diseases, helminth infections, malaria, Chagas disease, Leishmania, vector biology.
Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt including an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence. Allow at least 2 hours for your receipt to be returned to you.
If you do not receive acknowledgment for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email the Conference Content Executive with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.
A condition of submission is that if accepted one of the authors will present at the conference.
