Start-up sessions

As with previous events in the series, the conference will provide a unique opportunity for researchers running start-up companies, or considering starting a company based on their scientific research, to gain valuable advice and insight. See below for details of the conference sessions and workshops on offer:

Conference session: Start-ups and Sustainable Chemistry

The journey of becoming a sustainable chemistry changemaker: Start-ups telling their stories

The session will zoom into the topic of how researchers become #SustainableChemistry #Changemakers. What sort of research holds the promise to spin-off? What kind of entrepreneurship education is needed? What are crucial elements to enter the business scene? During this session, founders will share their experiences on how to write a PhD, build a company and contribute to sustainability at the same time (or how they at least try to). Join the session and discuss with founders and panellists the different opportunities and challenges along the innovation journey.

This session is organised by ISC3 Innovation Hub.
