Elsevier integrates Digital Video, Embedded Systems and Telecommmunications Book titles from CMP Technology
Burlington, MA, August 21st, 2006 – Elsevier is pleased to announce the purchase of the Digital Video, Embedded Systems and Telecommunications book titles from CMP Technology, a division of CMP Media LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UK-based United Business Media plc. Included in the purchase are trademark licensing and co-marketing partnerships which will allow broader distribution of information to entertainment technology professionals around the globe.
CMP Technology’s books and authors, together with the licensing and co-marketing ties with DV Magazine, give Elsevier’s Focal Press a strong foothold with this young, rapidly growing professional and consumer audience. Elsevier’s Newnes imprint, already the leading publisher of books for embedded systems design engineers, also gains a number of seminal titles and access to this information-hungry technology sector.
