Elsevier and JAMA Network sign strategic content agreement for ClinicalKey AI
October 7, 2026
Full-text content and visuals from the JAMA Network will inform answers delivered through ClinicalKey AI
Elsevier, a global leader in advanced information and analytics, today announced a strategic content agreement with the JAMA Network that brings full-text content and visuals from the JAMA Network Family of Journals to ClinicalKey AI, the company’s clinical grade AI workspace. The addition of the JAMA Network’s specialty journals further deepens a content collection that already spans leading journals and medical society publications worldwide, giving clinicians full-text access to more than half of the world’s top 100 medical journals.
Under the agreement, all published full-text content and visuals from 13 journals — including JAMA, JAMA Network Open and 11 specialty journals (JAMA Cardiology, JAMA Dermatology, JAMA Health Forum, JAMA Internal Medicine, JAMA Neurology, JAMA Oncology, JAMA Ophthalmology, JAMA Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, JAMA Pediatrics, JAMA Psychiatry and JAMA Surgery) — will inform the responses clinicians receive through ClinicalKey AI.
Clinicians face growing volumes of published evidence and reduced time in which to apply clinical insights. ClinicalKey AI is designed to close that gap by grounding every answer in peer-reviewed, evidence-based sources and linking clinicians directly to the full-text articles behind it.
Omry Bigger, President, Clinical Solutions, Elsevier, said: “Clinicians tell us that trust is the deciding factor in whether they will use AI at the point of care. This strategic content agreement with the JAMA Network means that when a clinician uses ClinicalKey AI, the answer can draw on many years of prestigious evidence-based content from JAMA journals without compromising privacy and security. We look forward to our strong collaboration with the JAMA Network and bringing the best insights and clinical content directly into the hands of clinicians at the point of care.”
Brian Shields, Group Vice President and Publisher of JAMA and the JAMA Network said: “The research published across the JAMA Network is intended to help inform clinical decisions at the bedside, in the clinic and in the exam room, Working with a global information and analytics leader like Elsevier extends the reach of that evidence to clinicians in the moments they need it most, with the full article always a click away so they can see the study, the methods and the context behind any answer.”
