The Society is committed to supporting persons who work with rangelands and have a commitment to their sustainable use. Rangelands comprise almost one-half of all the lands in the world and are vital to society for both the goods and services they produce and the ecological services they provide.
The Society promotes international development and dissemination of range management knowledge and sound management of rangelands worldwide. In addition to its journals, SRM provides a wide variety of additional resources including reference books, practical handbooks, abstracts, proceedings, videos and webinars.
