Jan Herzhoff

Managing Director - APAC Health

We have incredibly talented and passionate people and products that make a difference for health professionals and researchers around the globe.

What do you do at Elsevier and who, ultimately, benefits from your work?

I’m Managing Director for Asia Pacific (APAC), so my main objective is working with our teams in that part of the world to accelerate our growth in Asia. Ultimately that means improving patient outcomes in that part of the world, as our platforms help clinicians and nursing students access up to date, credible information when they need it.

What do you enjoy about your work?

Working with our teams across the globe and do joined-up problem-solving with them. This is a great company with incredibly talented and passionate people and products that really make a difference for health professionals and researchers around the globe! . In addition, I really like that not one day is the same.

Why you would recommend working at Elsevier to your friends?

If you enjoy working on big problems that benefit society in the areas of Education, Health and Research and if you like to work in a very collaborative and incredibly global environment, then I’d recommend it on those terms. If those are the things you value, it would be a good fit.
