Pure 5.10 release: strengthening the foundation of Pure
Our October 5, 2017 release focusses on strengthening the foundation of Pure. This includes critical unification of the research output data model, improvements to our external data synchronization framework, increased configurability in the Pure Portal, and the roll-out of more detailed tracking of Pure usage analytics.
Pure 5.9. Release : In June 2017, we released Pure 5.9. This release made it easier to report on, gain insights with, and extract data from Pure.
Pure 5.8 release: In early February 2017, we released Pure 5.8. This release includes updates to Faculty and Academic Activity Reporting as well as integration with Mendeley Data.
Pure 5.7 release: In early October, we released Pure 5.7. New features include activity model updates, prizes as a content type and Newsflo integration!
Pure 5.6 release: Understand the total picture of your institution's activity, both in the lab and in the classroom
In June 2016, Pure is adding the ability to add courses taught, complimenting all the existing data types in Pure like research outputs, research datasets, grants and organizational structures. This will allow customers to use their existing Pure system and the trusted data in a new way: Faculty and Academic Activity Reporting.
Pure 5.5 release: More ways to Reuse Data: Integration with ORCID and CV module enhancements
Researchers and administrators spend a lot of time making sure the data in Pure is accurate and a true reflection of academic output. Pure 5.5 offers more ways for customers to reuse their curated data both within Pure and with ORCID. The release also makes more citation metrics available to customers.
Pure 5.3 release: Improved Open Access support
For many years, Pure has already provided functionality to help users manage Open Access on publications. In the Pure 5.3 release, we take this a step further with an update as to how registrations of Open Access can be handled at the publication level.
Release 5.2 brings additional assessment exercise support to Australia and Denmark
Building on the success of the REF2014 module which helped UK institutions streamline the submissions process for the Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014), Pure is increasing its support for Denmark's Bibliometric Research Indicator (BFI) and the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA 2015) assessment in Australia.
Pure 5.1 – Analyze your publications and view article level metrics through deep Pure and SciVal integration
Building upon the benefits that Pure users already enjoy through deep integration with SciVal Funding and Scopus, Pure now integrates with SciVal – Elsevier's tools to analyze the world of research, and establish, execute and evaluate research strategies.
Release 5 provides users with further research networking and funding discovery capabilities
This release of Pure further enhances the system's research networking capabilities, which resulted from the integration of SciVal Experts into Pure earlier in the year.
