11th International Conference on Engineering Failure Analysis
12-15 July 2026 | Shanghai, China
Join us at the 11th International Conference on Engineering Failure Analysis
Engineering Failure Analysis is an interdisciplinary subject that plays a crucial role in analyzing and preventing failures across various engineering applications. It takes a comprehensive approach to address the safety issues of the whole lifecycle of a product or system, covering design principles, materials modifications, manufacturing methods, processing technologies, reliability analysis, structural integrity, inspections and testing, maintenance strategies, service conditions, environmental factors, safety managements, etc.
The 11th ICEFA will focus on the practical application of engineering knowledge in failure analysis, emphasising real-world case studies and industry-relevant examples. These will be integrated with theoretical, numerical, and experimental approaches to understand failure mechanisms across various sectors better. The achieving goal is to support improved design practices, extend service lifetime, prevent accidents and disasters, optimise manufacturing, improve reliability, and enhance inspection and maintenance strategies within asset integrity management frameworks.
In 2026, the conference's supporting journal, Engineering Failure Analysis, celebrates over 32 years of publishing high-impact research (since 1994). Join us in Shanghai to be part of this legacy and engage with the global community shaping the future of engineering failure analysis.
