Open meeting of the Graduate Entry Nursing International Network and launch of the Graduate Entry Nursing Special Issue of Nurse Education in Practice
Nurse Education in Practice is pleased to launch a Graduate Entry Nursing(GEN)-focused special issue. GEN refers to pre-registration programs which aim to attract post-graduates into the nursing profession. The special issue adds to a growing evidence base which reflects the potential and challenges this student demographic presents to nurse education and the workforce. It includes articles which critically deliberate the considerations required for recruitment, curriculum development, clinical learning and transition to practice. The launch of the special issue will be attended by a number of contributing authors and will offer the opportunity to initiate an international dialogue around future collaborations which can be supported by the Gen International Network (www.genintnetwork.org).
