Jaume Puy Llorens

Jaume Puy Llorens, Professor of Physical Chemistry, Vice-Rector for Research (2011–2019) and Rector of the University of Lleida (2019–2025). He has worked on topics in Environmental Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Nanotechnology and Chemometrics, leading various research projects under the National Plan, the European Framework Programme and in collaboration with industry. He has published over 180 articles. He collaborates with various national and international evaluation agencies, editorial boards of different journals, advisory committees and research networks. Within the framework of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities, he has chaired the Open Science committee and coordinated the committee negotiating transformative agreements with scientific publishers.
