IWATA

Ever since its establishment as a trading company in 1902, IWATA has been engaged in manufacturing and developing products that meet the needs of society. Based on chemistry, we will continue to create convenient and comfort products for human life in various fields: plastics, electronic materials, life sciences, etc.

Especially for ionic liquids, we started development in 2005 and succeeded in practical use as an antistatic agent. Currently, we provide over 100 tons of ionic liquid per year for those applications. We will challenge to create opportunities for industrial use of ionic liquids in more diverse fields.

Hiden Isochema

Hiden Isochema is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high quality sorption analyzers. We offer a range of fully automated gravimetric, manometric and breakthrough instruments for determining the equilibria and kinetics of gas and vapor sorption by liquid and solid materials.

The gravimetric technique is ideally suited to measurement of solubility and diffusivity of gases and vapors in ionic liquids, and hence our IGA, IGAsorp and XEMIS series are used for studies relevant to ILSEPT, including the investigation of water, carbon dioxide, hydrofluorocarbon and ammonia solubility and diffusivity in ionic liquids. We also offer novel techniques for multi-component sorption analysis.
