Reimund Paul Rötter, Georg-August-University Göttingen, Germany
Reimund Paul Rötter is Professor of Tropical Plant Production and Agrosystems Modelling at Georg-August-University Göttingen, Germany. He is an agronomist, agro-ecologist and agrosystems modeller with >25 years work experience in Africa, Asia and Europe. He received his PhD from University of Trier, was part of the CT de Wit Wageningen modelling school till 2007, and served as professor of agrosystems analysis in Finland with focus on climate change and agriculture till 2015. He has over 100 peer-reviewed publications, is an internationally leading authority in the agricultural system modelling community, and one of the founders of FACCE-MACSUR (www.macsur.eu).
