Robert Baloh, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, USA
Dr. Baloh received a dual MD-PhD degree from Washington University, and subsequently completed the Harvard Neurology Residency Program, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. Afterwards he returned to Washington University for a fellowship in neuromuscular diseases, and to develop his laboratory program focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases.
In 2011 Dr. Baloh moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to head the newly formed Division of Neuromuscular Medicine. He is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA. He maintains an active clinical practice, and a basic and translational laboratory research program.
