Introducing the award

Geoforum offers a conference travel bursary of US $500 for the best paper published by a student in a volume of the journal.  Each year's bursary will be available to attend a conference the following year.  Please note that the student must be the first or second author of the paper.  To be considered for this award, students should please flag this to the handling editor once papers have been accepted for publication.  The judging panel for this award consists of the journal editors, in addition to members drawn from the editorial board.
