Computers & Geosciences Best Paper Award

Each year, the Journal Computers & Geosciences awards the Best Paper Award. Two winners will be chosen, one in the area of Computational Geosciences and one in the area of Geoinformatics. A committee of Editors and Board members vote to select the winners.

Application process

Self-nominations are not allowed, neither are nominations where an associate editor, editor or board member was an author or co-author on the paper. Papers that are not nominated will not be considered for the award. Two winners will be chosen, one in the area of Computational Geosciences and one in the area of Geoinformatics.


Ceremony

The Best Paper Award winning paper will be announced by e-mail and in Computers & Geosciences. Authors and co-authors will receive a certificate for their award, to be presented at the annual IAMG meeting should the awardee be in attendance, or otherwise by post.
