Elsevier Collaborates with Emergency Nurses Association to Launch New, Expanded Version of Online Orientation
ENA: Emergency Nursing Orientation 2.0 includes a new knowledge inventory tool; more images, animations, video and interactivity; and a lesson notebook
Atlanta, GA, March 13, 2012 – Elsevier, a pioneer in providing eLearning solutions to more than 1,300 healthcare organizations through its Mosby’s eLearning brand, today announced a new, fully-revised version of the ENA: Emergency Nursing Orientation (ENO) online course.
ENO 2.0, authored by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) through an exclusive agreement with Mosby’s eLearning, helps provide a high-quality, consistent orientation and continuing education program that is founded on the most current evidence and best practices. This highly-successful course offers health care organizations an authoritative program to help ensure that patients cared for in the emergency department receive the best possible care.
“Our collaboration with Mosby’s eLearning over the years has yielded one of the best online emergency nursing orientation programs available, and this new version is even better,” said Susan McDaniel Hohenhaus, MA, RN, CEN, FAEN, Executive Director of Emergency Nurses Association and the ENA Foundation. “This updated course is designed to be flexible for new nurses in an orientation program as well as experienced nurses reviewing certain patient populations, conditions, or key topics to build knowledge or perhaps to study for their certification exam.”
ENO 2.0 includes many updated and new features, such as:
- 45 clinical lessons that offer continuing education credit
- Different pre-test and post-test from a test bank
- More color images and interactivity
- An online lesson notebook
