The pulvinar nuclei of the thalamus comprise a collection of nuclei located at the caudal (back) end of the thalamus. They are involved in a number of different functions, including integrating and modulating visual signals, somatosensory signals, and motor signals.

The pulvinar is also thought to play an important role in attention, and visual attention in humans.
