
Description
The epicranius muscle consists of two muscles that are located within the forehead and scalp. These are the:
- occipitofrontalis muscle;
- temporoparietalis muscle.
The occipitofrontalis muscle consists of frontal and occipital muscular bellies, which are connected by the epicranial aponeurosis.
