
Anatomical Relations
The ulnocapitate ligament forms part of the palmar ulnocarpal ligament. It arises from the ulnar styloid process, extending distally to insert on the palmar aspect of the capitate (Moritomo, 2013).

Function
The palmar ulnocarpal ligaments strengthen the articular capsule of the radiocarpal joint and prevent displacement of the head of ulna.
