The journal covers all aspects of neuroscience with an emphasis on neurotransmitters and their receptors, ion channels, signalling, psychopharmacology and animal models of disease, such as investigations on the neurobiology of cognition, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, epilepsy, ischemia, neuroprotection, neurodegeneration, drugs of abuse and pain.
