ICoBT 2018

Industrial challenges in biotribology

An important aim of ICoBT is to bring together researchers from Industry and Academia to promote the interchange of ideas, identify possible topics of collaboration and provide networking opportunities in this highly interdisciplinary subject. The "Industrial Challenges in Biotribology" session in previous ICoBT meetings offered the ideal forum for this, and featured short talks from industry speakers focusing on key research questions and future challenges in their technical areas.

Given the success of the “Industrial Challenges in Biotribology” session in previous years, we once again plan to host such a session for ICoBT 2018. We are currently inviting industry participants to contact us about presenting a short talk at the session. We stress this is not a forum for selling or product placement but rather an opportunity to share current or future research problems and find Biotribologists in the audience to carry out collaborative work in the field.

Proposed titles and short abstracts (< 150 words) outlining the scope of the talk should be submitted to the Conference Chairs by email: Marc Masen m.masen@imperial.ac.uk or Markus Wimmer markus_a_wimmer@rush.edu
