Andreas Trautmann, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany
Andreas Trautmann received a diploma degree in Chemical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, in 2013. Since 2014, he works as a PhD student in the department of Bioprocess Engineering at KIT and participates in the Bioeconomy Research Program Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, and the related graduate program BBW ForWerts. As part of an international and interdisciplinary team of scientists, he works within the research network microalgae. He focuses on the development of process strategies of photobioreactor systems concerned with photoautotrophic cultivation of microalgae for food and feed products under economic aspects from lab- to pilot-scale.
