Award

The 2nd Frontiers in Computational Physics award

At the conference we will hand out the 2nd Frontiers in Computational Physics award. This award is focused on young to early mid-career researchers. The nominees are young researchers who showed scientific excellence in contributing to frontiers of computational physics with applications to modeling energy sciences and who demonstrated service to the community. The nominations are sent in via the plenary speakers and the Journal of Computational Physics editorial board members. The Frontiers in Computational Physics Award recipient will be presented a special cash honorarium of $1,500 USD.

Special issue

There will be a special issue with papers related to (the topic of) this conference. Submissions will be treated in the same way as any other Journal of Computational Physics paper would. All submissions will hence go through the standard Journal of Computational Physics review process.
