Industrial Crops and Products, an International Journal, publishes academic and industrial research on industrial (non-food) crops and products, containing both crop-oriented and product-oriented research papers - a platform where agricultural research meets industrial R&D.
International Journal of Biological Macromolecules is an established international journal of research into chemical and biological aspects of all natural macromolecules. It presents the latest findings of studies on the molecular structure and properties of proteins, macromolecular carbohydrates, glycoproteins, proteoglycans, lignins, biological poly-acids, and nucleic acids. These findings must be new and novel rather than a repeat of earlier or analogous published work. The scope includes biological activities and interactions, molecular associations, chemical and biological modifications, and functional properties. Papers on related model systems, structural conformational studies, theoretical developments and new analytical techniques are also welcome. All papers are required to focus primarily on at least one named biological macromolecule.
Conference special issues
Industrial Crops and Products (ICP) and International Journal of Biological Macromolecules (BIOMAC) will both publish a Special Issue devoted to the ECO-BIO conference and falling within the scope of the journals.
The BIOMAC Special Issue will be dedicated to papers related to lignin and biobased fibres, while the ICP Special Issue will be dedicated to all the other topics presented at the conference.
To increase exposure of the content, both special issues will have free access for a period of nine months after publication. (Any paid open access papers will remain freely available after promotion has ended with remaining content only available to valid content subscribers.)
Authors of abstracts that were accepted by the conference as oral or poster presentations are invited to submit their original research paper to the Special Issues. In addition other researchers might be invited to submit a manuscript as well.
Submitted manuscripts will follow the usual review processes of the journals.
To be considered for the ECO-BIO Special Issues, manuscripts should be submitted through the journal web pages: www.journals.elsevier.com/industrial-crops-and-products or https://www.journals.elsevier.com/International-Journal-of-Biological-Macromolecules
More submissions details will follow soon.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Guest Editors: Solange Mussatto (firstname.lastname@example.org) for ICP Special Issue, and Maurice Collins (Maurice.Collins@ul.ie) for BIOMAC Special Issue.
