About the event
This event will bring together researchers, librarians, research managers, and editors from across the Czech academic community to reflect on the first months of the CzechELib–Elsevier Open Access agreement.
Hosted at the National Library of Technology in Prague (Balling Hall), the meeting will provide a forum to exchange experiences with open access publishing, discuss current practices in scholarly communication including the emerging role of generative AI in research and publishing, and explore how researchers and institutions can make the most of new publishing opportunities available through the agreement.
The programme will feature perspectives from Elsevier editors alongside discussion with members of the Czech research community across a range of disciplines, with a focus on practical insights into publishing, peer review, and research visibility and the responsoble use of generative AI in research.
