Terms & Conditions

  • The Competition is free and without any purchase obligation.
  • All candidates must be able to read and converse in English.
  • Each registration in the Competition is individual, and only one registration per person is allowed during the entire duration of the Competition.
  • The Competition is open to all individuals i) who have the age required by law in their country of residence to enter this competition (ii) who are currently enrolled in a university medical program.
  • The application process is open between August 26th, 2019 and September 12th, 2019.
  • Following the submission of their online registration, participants will receive access to ClinicalKey Student platform to complete four rounds of assessments, after which successful students will be selected to take part in a video challenge.
  • Submitted videos will be reviewed by Elsevier & their expert panel and a number of students from each country will be selected to take part in the Competition finale in London.
  • Participants must provide the following information: first name, last name, email, country of residence, name of university and year of study. This information is required for the completion of their application. If selected for Round 5 they must also supply a profile photo and to create and supply a video.
  • Each candidate warrants and represents that the information entered during their application to the Competition is complete and accurate. Any false, incorrect or incomplete information will automatically result in the application being rejected or the Participant being disqualified from the Competition.
  • Participants selected to take part in the Clinical Finale will be presented with a separate terms and conditions related to that event that they must agree to.
  • Participants agree that content submitted as part of the Competition may be used in Elsevier marketing materials after it’s close.
