Description

The cuboid articular surface (anterior surface) of calcaneus is the saddle-shaped, articular area on the anterior aspect of the anterior process of calcaneus. It’s one of the six surfaces of the calcaneus, the other five being the posterior, dorsal, plantar, medial and lateral surfaces.

The cuboid articular surface of calcaneus articulates with the proximal articular surface of cuboid bone, forming the calcaneocuboid joint.
