NuMat 2026 will take place at The Halifax Convention Centre:

Parking at the venue:
Parking is available in the Nova Centre and is managed by Page Realty. Please use the North Tower elevator (blue elevator bank) to exit the parkade and enter our facility through your designated event entrance externally.



Travelling to NuMat 2026

To qualify for the Meeting and Conventions special fares a minimum of 10 delegates is required travelling from various origins to the same destination within Air Canada's extensive North American and International network. Is there disabled parking?
The Halifax Convention Centre is conveniently located via elevator from the Nova Centre underground public parking garage https://downtownhalifax.ca/parking

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The public sidewalks serving the Halifax Convention Centre are level with the roadway separated by a tactile attention indicator (TAI) providing flexible access. Automatic doors are located at the Argyle and Grafton Street entrances. A wheelchair ramp is located at the entrance closet to the Argyle and Sackville. Tactile attention indicators on our front of house stairwells – located both for Grafton- Argyle and Argyle to Convention. All other spaces are accessible via the escalators or elevators.
Are there accessible elevators close to the conference rooms?
Passenger elevators are located inside the Halifax Convention Centre and provide access to all public areas of the building. Elevators are alarm-equipped with two-way communications to the Halifax Convention Centre Security Operations Centre. The elevators have audible floor notification, and the call buttons have both raised characters and braille.
Are there accessible restrooms near the conference rooms (same floor/near accessible lifts?)
Washrooms throughout the building are fully accessible and each level has one private universal washroom. Two banks of washrooms are available on Convention Level on the same level as the conference – located by room 108 and by room 105. See attached floorplan for reference.
