Luís M. A. Bettencourt is the Pritzker Director of the Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation, Professor of Ecology and Evolution, and Associate Faculty and Special Friend of Sociology at the University of Chicago. He is also an External Professor of Complex Systems at the Santa Fe Institute.

Robert Cervero is Professor Emeritus of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley, where he chaired the department and directed the Institute of Urban and Regional Development and the University of California Transportation Center.

Ana Diez Roux

Professor of Epidemiology, Drexel University, USA

Ana V. Diez Roux, MD, PhD, MPH, is Dean and Distinguished University Professor of Epidemiology at the Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health. Originally trained as a pediatrician in Buenos Aires, she completed public health training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health.

Dr. Nadja Kabisch
holds a PhD and a Diploma in Human Geography from the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, and is a senior researcher at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany in the Department of Geography, Landscape Ecology Lab.

Professor Mark Stevenson is an epidemiologist and Professor of Urban Transport and Public Health at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Professor Stevenson is a National Health and Medical Research Council (Australia) Fellow, an Honorary Professor in the Peking University Health Science Centre, China and an advisor for injury to the Director General of the World Health Organisation.
