Jonathan Ellman, Yale University, USA

Jonathan A. Ellman is the Eugene Higgins Professor of Chemistry and Professor of Pharmacology at Yale University. His research centers on the development of potent and selective small molecule ligands to challenging biomolecular targets and on the development of new synthetic methods applicable to drug discovery and production. He has received a number of awards, including the Tetrahedron Young Investigator Award in Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry (2006), the Royal Society of Chemistry Pedler Award (2010), the American Chemical Society Herbert C. Brown Award for Creative Research in Synthetic Methods (2012), and membership in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (2015).
