Professor Ts. Dr. Kamal Yusoh (B.Eng. Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; M.Eng. Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; PhD Polymer Nanotechnology, Loughborough University, United Kingdom) is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
He provides strategic leadership in advancing the University's academic and internationalisation agenda by strengthening academic quality, enhancing teaching and learning excellence, expanding transnational education (TNE), and fostering global partnerships to ensure academic UMPSA’s programmes remain innovative, industry-relevant, and internationally recognised. Prior to his current appointment, he served in several academic leadership roles at UMPSA, including Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Quality).
An accomplished academic specialising in polymer nanotechnology, polymer nanocomposites, and graphene technology, he has published extensively and contributed to numerous research and innovation initiatives.
Internationally, he was awarded the Mevlana Scholarship by the Government of Türkiye as a Visiting Scholar at Karabük University and currently serves as a Visiting Professor at Hebei University, China, reflecting his commitment to advancing international academic collaboration. He continues to advance academic excellence and strengthen UMPSA’s international higher education agenda.
