Prof. Mahfud Sholihin, Ph.D., Ak., CA., CPA serves as Vice Chair III for Council for Higher Education, Research and Development, Central Board of Muhammadiyah and he is also Professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Prof. Sholihin earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Western Australia.

His research and professional interests span business ethics and corporate governance, Islamic accounting and finance, and sustainability in accounting. In addition to his academic role, he actively contributes to national professional bodies and governance initiatives, advancing research, academic development, and professional standards in accounting and finance.
