Talk Title: Big Data, Big Signals: Tracking Myocarditis Risk and Recovery Following BNT162b2 Vaccination Through a Series of Territory-Wide Population Studies

Francisco Tsz Tsun Lai is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong and a leading psychopharmacoepidemiologist specializing in CNS/psychotropic drugs, vaccines, and multimorbidity. He has authored over 135 peer-reviewed articles, including in Annals of Internal Medicine, Nature Communications, and World Psychiatry as the first author. He serves on editorial boards of Communications Medicine (Nature) and Stress and Health, and has advised health authorities on pharmacovigilance during public health emergencies. In recognition of these contributions, Dr. Lai has received the Young Leaders in Global Health Award from the World Health Summit (co-patronized by the President of France, Chancellor of Germany and Director-General of WHO) in 2025.
