Fan Lu

Dr. Fan LÜ is a full professor of College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University, China. She received her BSc, MSc and PhD degree in Environmental Engineering from Tongji University, China, and won the Shanghai Excellent PhD Thesis Award in 2007.

In 2009-2010, she worked as Postdoc at CEMAGREF, France. Her research mainly focuses on biotransformation of solid waste by anaerobic digestion, composting or ecologically landfilling, and other valorization methods, especially on the functional micro-ecology involved. As a principal investigator, she has been responsible for some national-level R&D projects supported by central government. She has published more than200 papers in peer reviewed journals, and got 34 authorized patents. She has been awarded for excellence reviewing in several journals.
