After completing a BA in 1995 and a DPhil in 2000, both from the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford, Dan Lovegrove joined the children’s book publisher Heinemann, staying with them for a year.
Dan joined Elsevier as an Editorial Assistant for the Solid Mechanics programme in 2002, becoming publishing editor and then Publisher for the same portfolio of journals, remaining there until 2012 when he became publisher for a portfolio of Earth Science titles. His most recent career move has seen him become Senior Publisher responsible for the Environmental Science & Health portfolio of journals.
