Clara holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and two master’s degrees in Human Biology (University of Copenhagen) and Environmental Sustainability (UAB), specialized in Global Change. Early in her career, she trained in laboratory and structural biology at Imperial College London and KU. She has experience managing Responsible Research and Innovation initiatives and as Project Manager of several research projects in several institutions (Catalan Institute of Oncology, Savana, ISGlobal). Since joining ISGlobal in 2023, she has managed Horizon Europe coordinated projects (such as UBDPolicy project), led stakeholder engagement, and driven communication efforts. Currently, as Programme Manager and Impact Lead for the Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health programme, she promotes research synergies, translates scientific evidence into actionable knowledge, and identifies projects with high potential for societal and policy impact, specially in the Urban Health area.
