JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging Now Abstracted and Indexed by Thomson Reuters
New York, NY, 23 April, 2010 - The American College of Cardiology and Elsevier are proud to announce that JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging has been accepted for coverage by Thomson Reuters (formerly Thomson Scientific/ISI) abstracting and indexing services, including the Journal Citation Reports®. The Journal will receive its first impact factor in 2011.

Abstracting and indexing will begin with Volume 1:1 (2008) in Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as SciSearch®), Social Sciences Citation Index®, Current Contents®/Clinical Medicine and Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition.
JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging publishes papers with direct relevance to patient care and addresses current issues impacting cardiovascular imaging. The editorial board actively encourages submission of original research articles on noninvasive and invasive imaging techniques, including echocardiography (surface, invasive, and interventional), CT, CMR (including spectroscopy), nuclear (including PET), optical imaging, and cine-angiography; advances in basic science and molecular imaging that are likely to substantially influence the clinical practice of medicine in the next decade.
