Generative AI and ScienceDirect
ScienceDirect is working together with the research community to understand how Generative AI (Gen AI) can help its customers and individual researchers achieve their research goals.
Gen AI is exciting new technology that has the potential to accelerate research by understanding what researchers are looking for and why, and make extracting, synthesizing and summarizing what they need from full-text articles more effective and less time consuming than it is today.
We are in the very early stages of experimenting and learning about potential Gen AI features on ScienceDirect, a small number of global customers have been invited to take part in early testing.
Customer-driven innovation is at the heart of what we do. We are committed to working in close partnership with the research community to learn from and integrate their feedback into the development of our products.
