The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Moonshot Initiative

Agreement

Elsevier and the NCI Cancer Moonshot Initiative(opens in new tab/window) at the National Institutes of Health have established an agreement that ensures that authors publishing in Cell Press journals can comply with the NCI’s Cancer Moonshot Initiative’s public access policy requirements.

To comply with the Cancer Moonshot Initiative’s public access policy(opens in new tab/window), authors funded by this initiative can choose to publish research papers arising from it under gold open access in all Cell Press journals, in addition to other open access and hybrid titles. When publishing Gold open access, the corresponding author will be given a choice of two Creative Commons licenses.

An article publication charge (APC) is required to be paid in order to make an article open access. For further information, please refer to the guide for authors on the journal home page, or this page(opens in new tab/window) for current information on Cell Press APCs.

Elsevier will deposit the final Published Journal Article in PubMed Central (PMC) on behalf of the author(s) upon publication. The version that appears in PMC will contain a CrossMark logo, the end user license and a DOI link to the final version of the article hosted on ScienceDirect(opens in new tab/window). Please see our sharing policy for more information.
