Customer Story Sharing - Consent Terms
These terms apply where Elsevier has requested consent to share your organisation's story.
1. Purpose
Customer authorizes Elsevier to develop and publish materials describing Customer's experience with Elsevier products and services.
2. Rights
Customer grants Elsevier and its affiliates (including service providers acting on their behalf) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the brand assets and materials as approved in writing by an authorised representative of the Customer (including by email), externally for customer story sharing. Customer confirms it has the right to grant this licence.
3. Channels
Elsevier may use the materials and brand assets on Elsevier websites, social media, email marketing, sales enablement materials, presentations, events and webinars, paid advertising, and third-party hosting and sharing platforms.
4. Confidentiality and people
Elsevier will not publish Customer’s confidential information (including pricing, contract terms, or non-public financials). Where Customer personnel names, titles, voice, or likeness are used, Customer confirms it has obtained all necessary internal approvals.
5. Withdrawal
This Consent remains in effect until withdrawn. Customer may withdraw consent prospectively with 30 days' written notice to [email protected]opens in new tab/window. Elsevier will remove materials and brand assets from Elsevier-controlled channels within 30 days. Please note that materials already printed or in production may not be retrievable.
6. Acceptance
Elsevier's use of any materials or brand assets constitutes Elsevier’s acceptance of these terms.
