Graduated in Physics from São Paulo State University (UNESP) in 2005 and earned a master’s in science and technology of Materials from UNESP in 2008. In 2012, she completed a joint doctorate with the University of Valladolid (UVa) - Spain, securing titles of Doctor in Science and Technology of Materials from UNESP and Doctor in Physical Sciences from UVa. Following postdoctoral research until 2017, she is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at UNESP. She heads the NanoAmbio research group, focusing on Nanostructured Materials for Environmental and Biological Analyses and coordinates projects funded by FAPESP and CNPq. As a CNPq Level 2 Research Scholar, her expertise lies in Material Science, emphasizing nanostructures and their applications in thin films, mimetic membrane models, vibrational and electronic spectroscopy, surface-enhanced Raman scattering, and sensor applications. She is also active in scientific outreach.
